Assumption international debate society (Cynthia Yutian, Aishwarya Nair, and Karnnadda Senarak) won the "175th Anniversary of Thai-American Diplomatic Relations Commemorative Debate 2009", organized by Ministry of Higher Education, in Coordination with American Embassy.

Aishwarya Nair also won the 3rd Best Speaker of the tournament. Cynthia Yutian Luo is also the Best Speaker of the Grand Final, 6th Best Speaker of the tournament.
